How To Make A Continuous Bias Strip

how to make a continuous bias strip

The traditional method for making long bias strips, is to cut the fabric on the bias in strips and then piece them together.

This method shown  in the video below shows you a neat way to quickly make one long bias strip from your fabric. It’s pretty neat 🙂

Hope you found this sewing tutorial helpful!

Happy Sewing!

Thankyou sooo much Jennifer. I saw Kaye Wood do this on TV 20 yrs ago or more but wasn’t into sewing because of working and 3 active boys.I contacted Kaye but she misunderstood what I was looking for. Then I found it on your website.

I’ve been trying to find it for years. You have no idea how much I apppreciate this.

    Thankyou, Thankyou

I am on the last step to finish my quilt. I would like to see different binding options that are available.

My daughter staterd school two weeks ago (they start the day after they turn 5 here in NZ) and already clothes are an issue! Her school is unusual in that they don’t have a uniform which is good in some ways (because they tend to be ugly and badly-fitting) but bad in others because it would take some of the arguments away in the mornings! But at least it means I can sew whichever Oliver+S clothes I want for her can’t wait for the knit patterns to be available btw!

Unfortunately, the camera did not show the work being described, so for me the video was a waste.
    Thanks for trying….

I’ll try to find another one for you Cornelia. I replace the video I originally had because it was so out of date… but it was better. I’ll put that one back up. Thanks for the feedback!
